This piece was the third I created for my portfolio, and I utilized a collage style for the background of the artwork. The main focus resides in the girl's ignorance within the activities plastered in the background- even though they contain words such as "murder", "abortion", and "jury" that would usually evoke concern. However, the girl is consumed in her everyday mundane task of applying makeup, where her only focus is herself, her own life, and her next event. Horros committed to the politics of the world don't faze her, as she ignores them and continues on with her task in front of her. Daily Routine highlights the blind eye that teenagers turn to politics and the fate of the world's futures as they are engulfed in their own lives and privileges.
